Vacation Bible School
The Church shares in a Vacation Bible School that is run in conjunction with the other Churches in Lebanon each summer. During the Covid Pandemic the 2020 Vacation Bible School will be held virtually online.
Although the active online vacation bible has concluded you can still take part by clicking through the links, learning the songs, and doing the activities.

Standing Together with God
Lebanon Community VBS
Dates: Six Weeks! July 13 – August 17, 2020.
The final week will be a celebration and compilation of all the projects submitted the previous weeks.

Type: Virtual; on line interactive format
Joshua (The Fall of Jericho)
Scripture: Joshua 6
Memory verse: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight” – Proverbs 3:4-5
Summary: Joshua listened to God and was able to lead the Israelites to the land God promised them.

Gideon and his Army
Scripture: Judges 6:33-7:15
Memory verse: “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world” – John 16:33
Summary: Gideon knows that he cannot save Israel. We cannot do the saving on our own; we need God.

Scripture: Genesis 39
Memory verse: “For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline” – 2 Timothy 1:7
Summary: After being sold into slavery by his brothers, God filled Joseph with divine visions, and this made him a favorable heir in Egypt. Despite Joseph’s many hardships, he trusted God’s plan and many great things took place because of God working through Joseph.

The Body of Christ
Scripture: 1 Corinthians 12:12-31
Memory verse: “And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds” – Hebrews 10:24
Summary: The body of Christ is composed of many, all who have different purposes and gifts. We must love and encourage one another daily so that others may experience God’s love through us.

Jesus and the boy with barley loaves and fish
Scripture: John 6:1-14
Memory verse: “Jesus said, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall not thirst.” – John 6:35
Summary: Jesus fed over 5000 people using the lunch a poor boy gave him, of two barley loaves and two fish. God takes what we have and can use it to care for others in amazing ways.
